Nomad International Founder and CEO Michael H. Stohner was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii before joining the military after the events on 9/11/01. Joining the Army as a Special Forces candidate, Michael quickly earned the coveted Green Beret and conducted combat operations as the Detachment Commander of a Special Forces Operational Detachment Alpha (ODA), supported Humanitarian Assistance initiatives building schools, wells, and clinics in vulnerable communities in West Africa, hunted war criminals in the Balkans as part of a specialized team, and commanded a clandestine unit that worked hand in hand with the United States' premier intelligence organizations.  Michael is a subject matter expert in personal and industrial security, advanced tradecraft, Special Warfare, crisis management, critical analysis and thought leadership.
